"But didn't you say that contacting them was a bad idea?" Jack said as he took a shower.

"It is risky but I have developed new capabilities that allow me to compute much more efficiently and I am confident that I can gain information without exposing our location," the assistant said.

"I know that you have evolved a lot but what changed your mind?" Jack asked as he washed his hair.

"Returning to your home planet relies on advanced technology and our understanding of Sym energy. After our recent finding, I have doubts that we know enough about it to easily perform a dimensional jump. With the manufacturing capabilities in Seinas, we might be able to create advanced jumping devices but we are still missing critical technology blueprints to be successful. Therefore, leveraging the knowledge of the Rasp would be our best bet without relying too much on Sym energy," the assistant said.

Jack walked out of the shower and dried himself off as he looked at the naked Fey sleeping in bed. "Alright, how do we do it?"

After listening to the assistant's plan, Jack walked out to the garden where he found about 30 children having a class. They seemed to be learning about Sym energy and ability use with the patient Deer in the role of the teacher. The kids were the rescued children from the kidnappings that the organization had been conducting all over the planet. While the bats and the assassins had rescued far more than that, these were the ones that were orphaned so Jack thought it was best to take them in himself instead of trusting the corrupt governments to handle them. They all had rare abilities that were invaluable to the world but useless to him which made him their perfect guardian. He would just need to help them live a good life until they were old enough to get a job. Since more kids might be coming in over the next weeks, he should be thinking about hiring some teachers and caretakers who could help him out. But not yet. Deer seemed to enjoy playing the mother role for a loud group of children between 2 and 10 far too much. And the assistant will be able to tell the moment Deer needs support since it can read her mind, literally.

The takeover of the West Alliance was still ongoing but almost nearing completion. It was delayed in some areas but the masterful coordination and intelligence of the assistant made it easier than taking candy from a baby. The politicians and armies of the Abundance Sect did not stand a chance.

But the humanoids were nowhere to be found. Where were they hiding? Did they flee through a dimensional link? Jack was uncomfortable with their silence. It felt like the calm before the storm but he had other important tasks to take care of.

The assistant had created a plan to access the Rasp communication systems which required them to manufacture special communicators. Thanks to the manufacturing capabilities in the Seinas country, this would be possible within a few weeks but there were many uncertainties regarding the operation's success. It was unclear if the Rasp had communication interfaces nearby or if they were present in this dimension at all but it was the most promising strategy. The assistant had also suggested that the Rasp might have established contact with some governments or organizations during their time here since they have done extensive research on the planet.
